Welcome to the publication of Research and Innovation at City College
Message From The Interim Associate Provost For Research
Welcome to The RICC, the Research and Innovation at City College electronic magazine. The goal of The RICC is to highlight the outstanding research performed by faculty and students of City College and to recognize the outstanding contributions our researchers make to the community, city, state, country and world.
City College is proud to recognize our over $60 million in awards in 2020. In my role as Interim Associate Provost for Research I look forward to working with the outstanding City College faculty, staff and students.
In 2020, the nation and the world witnessed the types of challenges that inspire researchers on a daily basis. Currently, the nation and the world are battling the effects of COVID-19, a global pandemic. Researchers help society solve complex problems such as the novel coronavirus and achieve a better quality of life. In the inaugural issue we will highlight the ongoing research related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) that continues to challenge society.
We hope you enjoy The RICC.
Warm regards,
Rosemarie D. Wesson, Ph.D, P.E.
Interim Associate Provost for Research
